After the Alder Reunion, Jeff had to come back to work, but Ellen and I got to
stay a few extra days in Portland. We got to go boating one afternoon.

I'm glad you didn't have to force a really annoying life vest on her. We had to do that with Gabe on his first boating (canoe) adventure. Let's just say he wasn't too thrilled about the entire excursion. I'm glad Ellen had fun!
