We took Toby and Julie's family up to Newport Beach on their last day here, which turned out to on the day with the be coolest weather they had. It didn't stop all the kids from getting in the water and playing in the sand in their swimsuits. We kept commenting that it was warmer than the Oregon coast often is!

That's so cool you saw dolphins! Judging by your pictures, it looks like it was warmer than ANY day I've had at the WA or OR coast.
