- Temple – we’ve enjoyed weekly temple visits to the Newport Beach Temple. We anticipate a change in this wonderful routine when our little Greta arrives. What a blessing to have a temple so close! (Thanks to the Lord and to Pres. Hinckley for small temples)
- Jeff substitute seminary teacher – It has been a challenge for Jeff to adjust to early morning seminary, but he loves the chance to teach the gospel to high schoolers
- Ultrasound – last week Jennifer got an ultrasound that revealed that our little Sophia is growing quite well. With a 1lb. margin of error, the machine estimated Sophia to be 8 lb. 1oz. We’re hoping and praying that she will come very soon! J
- Baby preparation
o Toured the hospital (Hoag) that Jennifer will deliver in. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and organization of it all
o Jennifer turned to our main source for household items/clothes to look for baby stuff. Thanks to Craigslist, we have almost everything that we need for a smokin’ price!
o Cleaned out the closet for our little Helga. Cleared out the clothes we aren’t wearing to make room for a Pack-n-Play
o Attended a detailed 90 minute car seat class. We feel very prepared to drive our little Betty around
- Dollar Movies – Bee Movie and Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium
- Sports – Jeff has been actively mountain biking, playing softball, and racquetball
- Baby Shower – Jenn had a gracious turnout from the sisters in the ward for her baby shower
- Looking for a condo – We’ve started the search for purchasing a condo. We’ve met with an LDS Loan officer and Realtor and are prayerfully considering our housing options right now
- Cooking w/ Avocado – We love to cook together. Our latest favorite is using avocados adventurously

Jeff I can't think of a better seminary teacher than you. I bet those high schoolers are getting the best seminary experience possible. Good Job!
